Spotlight

hi it's me, lonica. On thursday i competed at the spotlight dance competition. it was fun! guess what...i got diamond on my jazz solo and on my lyrical solo i also took first in both divisions and i got a judges choice award for "mature quality of movement" cool huh? the most exciting thing was that I took saphire (4th) overall on my jazz and ruby (2nd) overall on my lyrical. now i get to go to nationals at disneyland i have never been there and i have been wanting to go there for my whole life. i will put up more pictures soon so you can see me in my costume.

The Day Before Easter

hi, sorry i haven't wrote back in a long time, but i told you how busy i am. today i had dance and becouse it was the day before Easter we had a easter egg hunt. Our director said that if you decorated the cutest easter basket you would get a watch that has Alice in Wonderland on it. well after dance we had the hunt. he said that there were some eggs that had money in them, $50.00 total. i got $1.00
well i got 11 eggs after that i asked him who won that watch. he forgot it at home so nobody won. but i really think my basket turned out cute. well thats what happend bye!!!!

dancen like crazy

hi its me lonica, I have been realy busy since i am now back on track, you want to hear about my life well, here it is. monday I have dance at ibt (Imagine Ballet Theatre) for 1 and a half hours. tuesday I have at davis dance academy (dda) for 2 hours. wednesday I, actually have a break. thersday I have at dda for 2 hours and tumbling for 1 and a half. friday I have at ibt for 4 hours and last but not least saterday at ibt for 5 hours. well thats my life oh, and in two weeks its my b-day and a comp. well see ya all later. make sure you check back becouse im typen like crazy.

This is Lynell: Just wanted to clarify. Lonica schedule at IBT is only for 8 weeks while they are rehearsing for the Secret Garden Ballet. It makes things hectic but it won't last forever.

happy birthday to me

For my birthday I asked for a new camera. I got a early birthday present becouse i wanted to get pictures at competition. I've got a lot of really cool pictures. heres some that my mom took of me with my new camera. and if your wondering how i got such a good picture of my camera, we found it on the internet.

Charlie Brown

hi this is lonica, welcome to my new blog. and i thought if you where going to know about me, you've got to know about my pet hamster. i adopted him november 2006.
i saved up my money to buy him.
my mom thought that charlie brown was a cute name and it fitts him, so i agreed. how about i tell you about him. just let me ask you one thing?isnt he cute! kay back to where i was, heres one thing funny about him he always gets out. but let me tell you about this one time when he got out three times in one week. so, i got in my pj's, turned off the lights, got in bed, and fell asleep, then in the morning my mom was like "lonica, lonica, lonica, guess what! last night i herd somthing' so i was trying to find what it was, and guess what, it was charlie under my bed", and thats the story that happend three times in one week, funny huh? for some reason charlie likes it under my moms bed. and I forgot to tell you he had to climb 9 stairs to get up there. well nice talking to ya all bye. oh and hamsters are nocturnal!
